Ok but could you imagine how Zeff had to balance with recognizing that Sanji was a child basically forced into an adult's body? Do you think there were moments he'd slip up before remembering "he's just a KID" Like has Zeff ever just run into Sanji staring at himself in the mirror and disassociating because it takes him so long to recognize and get used to the android body being his body?
I think Zeff actually has the opposite problem he knew very early on Sanji was a child that just so happens to be in an adult body but he cant see Sanji age and I know its a thing a lot of parents still treat their adult children like kids bc they dont realise they've grown up but for Zeff he really didn't realise just how old Sanji was getting and before he knew it the kids 19 and hes panicking like "shit shit shit hes grown he needs to get out of here and explore good thing this random pirate just broke my roof im gonna pawn him off onto him"
