Open Starter—. RAINY DAY
Why was the weather always miserable on her day off? Typical. She was already grumpy, had woken up feeling so, but the dreary cold was making it worse.
A clap of thunder rocked the sky and the heavens opened on a downpour, pulling her from her thoughts, cursing as she ducked into a shop.
Open Starter—. WORKING
He hadn't been to the shop in so long. Had let himself get wrapped in other things, let it all take a back seat, but he felt like he needed a break. Needed to work. Getting antsier by the day.
His speaker blared music as he worked on a truck—wiping sweat from his forehead, half singing along to lines that he knew from odd songs.
A ball.
Of all the things his father could come up with. A ball to get Shouto married off to some person with a powerful quirk was just his kind of luck.
He'd considered numerous ways of escape by now, none of which seemed possible at the moment. Being a prince had perks, yes, but Shouto would jump out the nearest window if it meant he could get away from this ball unscathed.
If King Enji thought Shouto escaped, Shouto was in for hell. He was in for hell, anyways. It didn't escape him that this party had been arranged by his father to find Shouto a significant other. Anyone who Enji thought was anyone was invited. It particularly meant that the people invited were strong quirk users and that usually meant that Enji knew of them before this. That would then mean that they were likely to be jerks.
He could name ten thousand places he’d rather be than here pretending to have some interest in some stranger whom he’d never met before.
Why, why, did his father try something like this?

His father was furious, to say the least. All Might's true form being revealed had him throwing a temper tantrum anytime the previously ranked number one hero was mentioned. It reminded him of how angry Bakugo was while winning first place in the sports festival. They recieved the prize that they were after, but both parties so no honor or glory in how they won, and that made them more furious than Shouto had seen before.
Due to his father's temper tantrum, he and many of his siblings had done their best to avoid the house. Enji's rage in general wasn't something that would subside normally. He'd likely be furious about the circumstances for as long as he lived. It didn't help at all that every news station was chatting about All Might's retirement. Many of them even listed their concerns that Endeavor was going to rise up to be the number one hero by default and Shouto had to agree.
Despite the fact that the world had lost it's greatest hero, the streets were filled with civilians. If one weren't looking well enough, they might mistakenly think that today was no different than any other day. However, people were whispering, trying to keep their concerns out of the ears of children. With the fall of a great hero, they were trying to keep pretending that the world was safe from villains, that nothing happened.
It really made Shouto have to consider the implications of his father’s temper on his job and their family.

week 13 februari
In de week van 13 februari hadden Floortje, Ankie, Sam, Lars en ik de opstart van toen nog de voorstelling MELK. Bij deze opstart hebben wij de regisseur Anouk Beugels en alle mensen die meewerken aan de voorstelling ontmoet, en hebben we de eerste informatie over de voorstelling gekregen. MELK: een muziektheater/ musical voorstelling over moederschap en alle stigma’s rondom moederschap.
