Who drags the other out for breakfast on special occasion

Roxas, definitely. On special occasions Roxas will often sit outside Bane’s room and rap on the door with his knuckles until Bane stops reading and opens the door (because Bane is perpetually up at like the crack of dawn what the heck Bane) and Roxas will drag him out to some sort of eat place to eat things, sometimes having already dragged other friends into it (or other friends panned it and Roxas makes sure to drag Bane along). Roxas just likes to make sure Bane doesn't miss out on things or feel left out and he’ll never admit it but he honestly does enjoy Bane’s company, though sometimes when Bane opens the door to him he insists that he doesn’t have the energy today, because socializing is hard, and Roxas will usually be upset because he believed for a while Bane was just being sour and surly but he learns with time to let it be, because he starts to understand how Bane works.

If they are the type to prefer hanging out only with each other or with other people also

Roxas is under the constant impression that more is merrier and even though Bane is very introverted, he really does love his friends. Of course, they hang with Thor a lot and often the girls tag along with them, and sometimes them and Thor will hang with like Leroy and Andreas and them. They like their friends, they’ve got a gaggle.

Which animal do they associate with each other - if any

Roxas is a tiny wolverine. Roxas has always been a tiny wolverine. Roxas doesn’t really consciously associate Bane with anything but if you asked he’d probably say a browl. He says that’s a mix between a bear and an owl and to not question him.

Who knows the other’s coffee order

They both do (Roxas more out of natural good memory, Bane out of conscious thought), but Bane is the one who would probably make use of the information (I can see him getting Roxas coffee late at night when Roxas should really be finishing an assignment/paper and Bane comes into his room and pumps him up on coffee and sits with him and makes sure he does it because ‘goddammit Roxas I am not letting you let yourself fail’)

What is their best memory together

If I said it was that time Bane kissed him in the ice cream shop because of that homophobe would you hit me? :P

In all honesty, though, that’s a big high-up one for Roxas, not necessarily because he had any particular want for Bane to kiss him, but because the whole situation showed Bane’s willingness to support him and the lengths he’d go to do such (especially considering Bane’s vague discomfort with kissing in general) (for the record, if anyone is interested in the story I’m referring to here shoot me an ask I’m more than willing to share)Really, though, I think for Roxas it would probably be back in first year when Bane duct-taped Roxas’ hammock to the wall and even as Roxas is cursing him out, Bane is just laughing this full-bellied ringing laughter. It was a moment when Roxas started to get who Bane was past being the genius stick-in-the-mud he shares a mentor with. (would they share a mentor at this point? When does Bane get tired of Zuchini/cucumber/I-can-never-remember-his-name???)

For Bane (and I think a bit for both of them) it was definitely the one night, one of the nights when Bane would stay up with Roxas while he wrote a paper, when Bane just sort of let it spill out of his mouth that he was ace (this was after he knew that Roxas was bi) and Roxas, who at that point despite knowing himself really hadn't been involved in the community and really didn't know much, had of course no idea what Bane was talking about. But Bane explained it to him really quietly and sort of off-handedly, trying to act like he wasn’t all riled up and anxious on the inside, and after a few silent moments of Roxas thinking, Roxas just sort of said ‘oh alright, that’s chill. Puts some shit in perspective I guess. Thanks for telling me” and takes another huge swig of his coffee and keeps typing. Bane doesn’t stop smiling for like an hour. a few days later, Roxas comes up to him asking (in that same fake off-handed manner that Bane had explained asexuality to him in), about romantic orientations and Bane tries not to just beam at him as he explains.

What would they be like as roommates

They would tear each other apart for probably about a week straight before falling into a strange sort of rhythm. Bane would learn when to put his headphones in and read and just tune Roxas out and Roxas would learn to not do things like throw water balloons at Bane while he’s reading (I mean, you’d figure he’d have learned that already but the consequences are different when you LIVE WITH THEM). 

But I feel like once they settle into that rhythm things would go really well. I mean, Roxas lives really simply and doesn't like to have stuff everywhere and Bane similarly likes to have everything nice and organized and away so they wouldn’t fight over things like that. And Bane actually enjoys doing laundry so he’d probably end up doing all of Roxas’ laundry too so Roxas wouldn’t have those moments of ‘fuck, literally all my clothes are dirty what the hell’I mean nothings perfect, these two are near polar opposites, but they would make it work I feel

oh goodness. My ideal house?Um, I guess first off two floors with high ceilings and a basement.
