The garden is probably one of her favorite places on earth. She was sure to get a plot of land that was big enough to accommodate its grandeur.It’s ever changing, always growing and still vulnerable and in need of taking care of. It gives her a sense of accomplishment and helps her feel sadness and disappointment when a plant doesn't take. Bright colors in the spring and summer, birds chirping, tall stalks waving in the early summer breeze. Abundant in all seasons, providing for her and her family. Quiet and peaceful when she needs it to be, loud and fun when she’s chasing the kids around or entertaining. It will always be the safest place.

Harlow Happy Place

The beach has always been a place where Harlow could go when she felt overwhelmed with life. From a young age it was as if the ocean called out to her. Learning to swim from an early age since they always spent time on the water. The ocean holds many of her tears, her secrets, her wishes. When she felt like everything was closing in on her, the beach was the one thing she could claim onto. It's always there when everything else lets her down. The beach is her safe haven. Her happy place.
