Right, I forgot you were basically just born. Basically, the concept of Schrodinger's cat is that if you close an object in a box, there's no way to tell if it exists or doesn't exist until you open the box again. And because of that, it's best to assume that it's either both or neither, according to the theory.
Practically, though, it's incredibly stupid. If you put an object in a box and close it, the law of conservation of mass dictates that it must exist, because matter can't be created or destroyed under any circumstances.
The only flaw to this theorem, however, is the big bang. The big bang is the most common theory of how our universe came to exist. A single explosion from a singular point of infinite mass and infinite density created all matter in our universe. However, this directly contradicts the law of conservation of mass, as matter cannot be created or destroyed.
To this day, scientists and physicists are still trying to figure this contradiction out and find a way to either bridge the gap or find a new theory that fits one of the two pre-existing ones in a coherent way.
