I reread Pet today in preparation to write a chapter featuring - you guessed it - Veretian pets. No joke, it took me eight hours to get through the one short story, because every two sentences I’d see some word or idea that would send me scurrying off to write (often fairly unrelated) little bits and pieces in various fics. This is why I can never reread the Captive Prince series the whole way through. EVER. It would take a decade, and I’d never sleep. 

But on the plus side, at least there would be lots of fics.
