Do you know what would be fucked up? An AU in that Stan didn't break Ford's perpetual motion machine but was accused of doing it anyway because Ford found a bag of toffee peanuts in the gym, assumed it was him and then he ended up being kicked out by Filbrick because of Ford's assumption. Or an AU that Ford sabotages himself for not wanting to have Filbrick's expectations of being their ticket out of Glass Shard Beach in his neck and decided to blame Stan, so he could have a reason to be mad at his brother and not sail away with him after high school but then Stan ended up being kicked out by Filbrick because of Ford's plan, and instead of telling the truth, Ford decides to play along, because in his mind, Stan would be free from his father's expectations too and he can dropout school instead of repeating the last year.
