the ship is going down. really quick. poseison should just let it go.
but he has a soft spot for this mortal. so he's the one who wakes jack sparrow up, gently slapping him awake before pulling him to his feet with a strong hand. the ship seems more stable, but there's water up to his knees as he stands over the young man. “ you better be quick, son. you don't have long. what's your plan? ”
he will probably not let the boy drown if he can't think his way out of this. probably. the outcome is never quite certain with the earthshaker.
