would traveler x diluc/childe technically be a reader insert pairing? cuz traveler is meant to be as relatable as possible because they're the protag.

i kind of feel like it is? when i think reader-inserts i think works written in the second person, but the traveler can still be projected onto pretty hard/has a customizable name. kind of like in otome games where there’s an MC but you still feel like you’re living vicariously through the MC. i don’t know if it exactly fits the criteria of reader-inserts, but then again, there’s not really a set in stone list of rules for the genre. 

i wonder if mihiyo knows how much money they could make if they made the adult characters romanceable tkjegmrwl their stocks would be SKYROCKETING !!! 📈 they already made some of the characters flirt with the traveler, TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL !! COWARD COMPANY !!

In regards to your earlier ask, I definitely think that Alex has addressed the fact that he was seeing a married woman multiple times, and I agree I don’t think he saw it as grooming. I think it was very consensual on his end as well. I think you’re right to say I don’t think he saw it as grooming.

He hasn’t said anything about it in years so idk how he feels now, but back when he did talk about it, he referred to it as a relationship or an affair.
