Did anyone else make ocs for certain fandoms only to learn that a character in the place of said oc existed?
#my ocs were all made because I didn't know a canon version of them existed#like#just a random example#Longnu#or Longnv#however it's spelled#I made an oc called Ao Lay to be Ao Bings sister before I knew about her#And Li Zhenying#I was in the process of making an oc because I didn't know she existed#I still use my ocs#sometimes#If I've made too strong of an emotional attachment to them#And before I knew about Athanasia#I made an oc called Tenya to be Damians little sister#I like a lot of my ocs#and my ocs are extremely similar to their unknown counterparts
