it's obvious we won't get the opportunity to witness the beginning of the Shandy relationship like we've been hoping for.

if we're gonna rely on the past of Duff's writing, by the time next season starts they'll already be together.

i'm kinda disappointed but... i guess i should be grateful they became canon.

Today, I finished the sketch for a piece I've been working on and off for a while now and started lining it. I'm actually super pleased with how it's coming out, which is awesome because I'm challenging myself to do stuff I've never done before -- drawing pretty ladies (I am horrible with lips and lashes and hair, which is why I've always found it easier to draw boys or my androgynous character -- but no, these are my adorable femme girlfriends, and I'm determined to do them justice), trying different face angles, doing a pose that isn't straight-on, and even attempting a background of sorts.

I honestly feel like I improve with each and every picture I attempt, so I feel like I'm making progress, and that's all I can ask for!

I really wish I didn't have work these next two days, though... I want to get back in the art groove and finish this picture!

I just realized that the little picture next to the Activity option, changes as time goes on to reflect what your own graph looks like.
