Selaea. both. if Selaea has had a rough day and wants to destress/wants some amusement, they will lie to others for shits and giggles. usually about something small like their occupation so they can get free drinks out of some poor soul sksks they definitely lie on missions when needed, and do it a little too easily. on a personal level, Selaea will sometimes lie to their crew and/or other allies to avoid hard conversations, usually about their past, which i have a feeling they don't like talking about (unless you keep pressing for answers like Hysi does 💀) Selaea definitely differentiates between direct deception and lies of omission, and can appreciate when they fall for either or, though they'll be pissed.
Naxus. tries not to lie the honorable Mandalorian in her, i suppose 😅 but understands that it is sometimes necessary. Naxus will lie on missions, whether it be a simple bounty contract or for Mandalore/the Alliance Commander, in order to achieve her goals. in her personal life, however, she tries not to make it habit (unless it's something small/silly like lying to Hysi about what Selaea and the Star Sovereign crew are up to when they're actually planning a surprise party for her baby sister). she definitely does not differentiate between direct deception or lies of omission—a lie is a lie, no matter who's the deceiver or recipient.
