there are so many 'radical departures' and 'innovative approaches' and 'novel images' i'm surprised the world hasn't exploded shouting WOW CLEVER THEATRE from its fractures.
no, look. i understand language must be used. i understand certain messages help to reach the thoughts across and garner interest. that the excitement felt in creating must be expressed one way or another. but i am irked by so many same-sounding phrasing, by the predictability of their occurrence.
