@oracleshe asked: “so you wanna go find something to break?”
Jon was feeling angry. He knew he wasn’t the best at filtering his emotions. He wore his heart on his sleeve, and all of his emotions were on his face like an open book. So maybe it was easy to tell when he was feeling upset. The world had a red haze to it, and he knew his eyes were red, like his heat vision was going to act up. It might as well have, had Mar’i not said something.
He snapped his head towards her, and his anger simmered down just a tad. The world slowly became less red, until it was back to it’s normal coloring. His eyes went back to their baby blues, but his anger was still on display. He knew he had a short temper, he knew he got annoyed easily, and he knew that should he choose to let it overwhelm him, the result could mean property damage. Or worse.
He wouldn’t allow himself to do that.
He mustered a smile, although it came off as more of a grimace.
“I shouldn’t-” He replied, finding it easier to pull off a more natural smile. “You are welcome to though, and I’ll come with you. I’ll leave the breaking to you.”
If he got into the habit of violence whenever he was mad, if he got into the habit of breaking things whenever he was angry, that would spell trouble. He was Kryptoninan. Well, half. But it was dangerous if he started to break things when he was angry. Who knows what might fall into his war path? It was better to just simmer down by deep breathing and counting to ten. His mom was good at teaching him coping mechanisms.
