Still flying over the city, keeping a diligent eye out for her targets, Kiki spots Jotaro from a mile off. He’s kind of hard to miss She flies past him, landing in front of him slowly. 

“I wanted to return these,” She smiles, holding out the candy cane package now returned to it’s original form of cigarette carton, “I was a little surprised!” she smiles, “but thought you might want them back now!”

“Oh and,” she shuffles through her shoulder bag, and pulls out a little bag of cookies, Its tied up with a little red bow, “I made you these! There’s some peppermint cookies, as well as some dark chocolate, in case you didn’t like sweet things,” She grins, holding the bag out to him. 

“Merry Christmas!”

Was it a dream? A Stand?

Aside from the bizarre, almost tacky scenery, there’s a chill in the air. Snowflakes melt on her bare shoulders.

She hadn’t had an opportunity to view much of her father’s disc. Even if she were able, her goal hadn’t been to invade his privacy (though she was curious as to the secrets he kept tucked away all her life while she ate leftovers in front of the television and snuck glances at the front door in hopes that it would open to reveal the person she longed to see). She had read the diary of the man called DIO, the memories Pucci had ruined her life to steal.

She’s going to kill Pucci. It’s her destiny as a Joestar descendant, she now knows. Destiny aside, though, she really fucking wants to kill him.

She uses that anger to keep herself warm, to help her punch a hole through whatever this situation is. And then, perhaps she hallucinates: a broad-shouldered silhouette conjures memories of strong arms and an unquenchable longing.

“Dad?” she calls out. She can’t help herself. “What happened to you?”
