Currently watching the anime Dandadan.

The protagonist Orakun wants to learn how to punch good so he can fight a demon and save his friend. We, the audience, are rooting for Orakun here. So he asks Mr. Shrimp to teach him punching.

Mr Shrimp immediately said “no, violence is bad”. I like that, it was a nice subversion of expectations.

Then Turbo Granny baited Orakun into fighting the evil spectre of Ludwig van Beethoven in a school band class at 2 am.

I love this show.
