He was shaking. He cried silent tears that ran down his face and left traces of what was he doing. He asked himself, as he often did why him? Why did god punish him like this? Because he fellt in love whit another man? Because he disobeyed god? Or because , he was his fathers son?

He did not know.But he still had hope.Not in god but in Sean.His Sean....His rock in the surf, his everything , his angel on earth. The one who never let him down. Never had expectations and loved Oran, more than anything else.

Oran sat on the bed.Looked at his wounds , both external and internal.Broken and betrayed by his own father!

Yes, his father...

The person he hated the most! More than he hated himself . The person who mistreated him. The person who abused him: The person who has let him down countless times.

That was his father.Odhran Doherty . He barley wasted a thought on him , when Odhran enters his room.....

Oran is not in the Hellcrew, and he never is going to be. Oran is dead. Julius killed Oran the night Julius came back as a demon, it was during the murder rampage Julius went on that night.

To put this mildly, Julius tortured and murdered Oran in seriously disgusting, fucked up, out right over the top ways. Like... I'll just give this implication on it; anyone who has seen my draft page of my next comic will understand the meaning behind Julius' last words to his father, which were, “You taught me pain is perfection, and now I'm going to make you perfect the way you did to me. Get a absolutely fucked!”

How tall was Oran And Maeve ?

Oran was 6'1 and Maeve was about 5'2. Julius got his father's height and his mother's tiny, very petite bone structure (Julius has a very small bone structure especially for his height - he would look underweight even at a healthy weight simply due to what a tiny build he has despite being 6'2).

Need to preface this by making it clear I am a trans dude and that I do not ever agree with any type of queerphobia, these are not my opinions.

Oran is from the mid 1800s so keep in mind that trans people were extremely uncommon during this time period, and he didn't know that trans people existed (not even Julius knew trans people existed until well into adulthood). That being said, just because Oran didn't know trans people existed and therefore held no opinion, doesn't mean he would have had a favorable opinion if he had known. Oran was incredibly hateful towards gay people, and he raised his kids to believe being gay was the worst sin one could commit.

Yes, there was a lot of self hatred at play in his opinion as well as being a product of his time and upbringing. He would have been even more hostile towards trans people, he was incredibly hostile to Julius for liking more feminine and girly things despite Julius being very much a (cis) man and more than comfortable in his masculinity. So it's safe to say his views towards transgender people would have been incredibly hateful.

Oran met Maeve at church. They got married very young and had their first children less than a year after. Oran's motivation to marry and start a family was the fact he would inherit his father's house if he did. Oran did not want to get married or have a family, but he wanted to be able to blow money on drugs and drinking while ensuring a roof over his head.

Oran Doherty isn't a good person by any means, and Julius did everyone a favor by killing him eventually.

Yes he was gay, very much in the closet though. And heartbroken in the closet at that because he used to have a boyfriend he loved very much. Julius' and Killian's relationship made him extremely jealous, watching them as adolescents reminded Oran of his ex boyfriend and him at that age.

Oran's relationship with Maeve was the same as it was with everyone: perfect, wholesome and pure to the outside; nightmarish, non stop abuse and constant obsessive control behind closed doors

Oran claimed to be a man of God but he's anything but that.

I have a question about Oran . Have had He heterocromia ? I See in a old Art " reveal the rot " WHO Oran And Mave are in the Background thats He have a Brown and a Green eye . IS this Truhe ?

No, Oran has blue eyes. Julius got his (human) eye color from his father. The picture of Oran and Maeve in the illustration in question is in sepia colors given the time the "photo" was taken off them. If there's any green in it, that would be a pixilation error that caused the color to appear.
