Beer — TailGate Brewery
ORANGE WHEAT
An American Wheat Ale brewed with all-natural orange. Light-bodied, creamy and zesty from start to finish. Our hottest seasonal release ever, and now a staple in our year-round lineup. 5% ABV
Goes well with Friday and 🌞
Had a nice glass of orange wheat today w/ @alemarti. Heard a little live music. A good temporary distraction to the madness coming from the fact that it’s the end of another (final) school year!

Hangar 24: Review ++ Touchdown in the Bay Area
The Orange Wheat was surprisingly very full of orange flavor without being too overwhelming. Too often the fruit-infused wheat beers have just a small hint of flavor. Hangar 24′s Orange Wheat was packed full of orange flavor without drifting from a proper wheat beer taste. It’s smooth and refreshing, perfect for barbecues or a weekend afternoon beer.
From the bottle:
Crisp, tangy & refreshing. The citrus aroma, light airy mouthfeel and tangy finish are this unfiltered beer’s trademarks. This is accomplished by adding whole, locally grown oranges throughout the brewing process which perfectly coalesce with the wheat and barley base.
The Amarillo Pale Ale is tasty and goes down smooth. Wait, was that a cliché? An accurate description though. If you’re into American pale ales, like Sierra Nevada, this actually has a less intense flavor. That’s a good thing.
From the bottle:
Balanced and Resinous. Midwestern malted barley provides a pedestal for you to experince the flavor and aroma of our citrusy northwestern hops. This is a traditional and dry hopped version of a true classic. A genuine American pale ale.
The Warmer winter ale will make you actually feel warmer and is deliciously good for its alcohol content of 7.8%. I’m not a beer connoisseur, but the variety presented by Hangar 24 Brewery is quite a nice, tasteful blend.
From the bottle:
This rich, strong ale neatly balances caramel malts and spices, prividing warmth on a cool winter day. Every fall, we trek up the San Bernardino mountains to harvest fresh spruce, then carefully add just the right amount of cinnamon and maple syrup to create our Warmer. It’s a lightly hopped, tantalizing ale with festive notes of maple, spruce and spice; a nice complement to a cooler time of year.

About Hangar 24
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery began with a true passion for good beer, the absolute love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being around great friends. Owner and master Brewer Ben Cook and his buddies used to meet at Hangar 24 after an afternoon of flying to trade stories, talk aviation, play music and share a few cold ones that Ben just finished brewing at home. These days, the location where these fine beers are brewed has changed, but the quality time spent enjoying a delicious, handcrafted beer and conversation is the same as ever. Hangar 24 Craft Brewery employs more than 50 team members and its distribution is now spanned throughout Southern California with its addition of another company, Hangar 24 Craft Distribution. Its annual capacity now stands at approximately 40,000 and its Brewery and Distribution Center together employ nearly 100 people.
