Literally I can’t even answer, too hard, too many.
22: Favorite movie musical(s)?
It depends how you qualify it? Like, as a stage to film adaption The Last Five Years is like REALLY GOOD, but films that are like *only* movie musicals are very hard to even come up with? Also The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
23: Least favorite movie musical(s)?
Can I just say Cats again?
24: Favorite film adaption of a play?
There is inevitably going to be something that’s adapted from a play that I don’t know is adapted from a play. I guess I have to go with She’s The Man.
25: Least favorite film adaption of a play?
Yeah, I don’t know. I can’t think of anything I’ve especially hated.
26: Favorite show you've been in?
I’ve never been in like an all out musical (I know, I know), so I guess I have to go with the many Gang Shows I’ve been in.
27: Least favorite show you've been in?
Jack and the Beanstalk, which was a school production when I was at primary school. The show itself was adapted from Roald Dahl’s version so it was cute and rhymey and the songs were fun but annoying but it was all the extra parts my school had to add in and then all the drama with speaking roles. It’s a long story.
28: What kind of theatre excites you?
I really love musicals. I don’t really know how much else to say.
29: Favorite warm-up?
I guess 1, 1, 2, 1? In the last Gang Show we did the Cha Cha Slide as a warm up and that was amaze.
30: How did you get into theatre?
Performing wise definitely Gang Shows, which started when I was 10. Consuming wise my mum always loved them and she often sang me songs from them and things, she’s also why I loved Joseph so much when I was little. Otherwise it was quite independent, I kind of decided one day that I liked them and then started listening to a lot of cast recordings.
31: Who are your biggest inspirations when it comes to theatre?
Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron.
32: What is your dream show?
Newsies and/or Mormon genderflips. But like, without needing to change everything. Like I would just love Newsies, as such a male dominated show, to feature a woman named Jack “Cowboy” Kelly and no one even questions it. Keep the names and the pronouns even. Just give me ladies in roles for guys.
33: What is your dream role?
Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut. Probably because it feels the most achievable when I’m not an amazing dancer and I don’t look right for 80% of my other dream roles, but like, they’re puppets.
34: What musical would you like to see turn into a movie?
tbh I’d prefer proshots of stage performances than movies.
35: A showtune that describes _____?
I feel like you, the asker, were meant to supply something. Come to the Fun Home is so me and my younger siblings though.
36: Dream cast for _____?
We did Wicked dream casts that one time. I can’t be bothered doing this one, it will take me ages to choose a show.
37: A show that you hate that most people like?
Generally shows that are popular are popular for a reason and I tend to like most of the big ones.
38: A show that you like that most people hate?
I can’t think of anything. My sister always got really annoyed at Newsies though.
39: Broadway crush?
My husband Darren Criss is currently on Broadway. Also my bae Emily Skeggs. I could go on for ages but I shan’t.
40: Have you ever had stage fright?
Not really seriously! There was a moment in the last show I was in that always made me nervous because the sound effect was really long so there was this moment where I knew everyone was looking at me and ugh.
41: A role that you feel you've been cheated out of?
The solo in Body Electric that should have been mine in the 2012 Gang Show.
42: Have you taken a theatre class?
Year 9 drama. It was part of an arts rotation but my school didn’t offer it past that.
43: Best experience in the theatre?
I have a lot of good experiences. I really love when you’re waiting to go on stage and have a little dance party in the wings.
44: Worst experience in the theatre?
I can’t think of anything especially awful.
45: Funniest experience in the theatre?
It was actually backstage at a ballet show. We were split into our grades, and we were bored waiting in the dressing rooms and played a game of sardines throughout all the dressing rooms etc. Because our whole class was playing we all missed being called to the stage, and the teachers were grumpy but it had been fun and like, we were all in trouble.
46: Weirdest experience in the theatre?
My first role in the last show I was in was an usher. Like I went backstage for all the pre-show stuff and got my costumes ready and my base make up, then I went out the front and actually did usher stuff (which I loved, getting to see the theatre fill up right before I went on). As soon as I did my part for the show (I showed two cast members to their seats, then walked back up the aisle) I ran around backstage and changed into my costume for the number that was literally happening on the stage right then, took my towel into the green room for makeup to sparkle me up, dropped my towel and glasses and let someone else take them back to my dressing room, and then went onto the stage.
47: Favorite thing about theatre?
Sitting in a dark room with all those other people and being bonded for just a moment by all watching the same show.
48: Least favorite thing about theatre?
Cast dramas. The people throwing fits for not getting the parts they wanted etc.

50: If you could have dinner with any 3 Broadway people (actors, composers, directors, etc) who would it be with and why?
as it is right now, Stephen Sondheim (my father), Sydney Lucas (my daughter), and if I wanted to continue with the family thing I’d have to go with Darren Criss (my husband), like just to be fair.
The alternative set for this is Stephen Sondheim, Anna Kendrick, and Robin De Jesus.
