Here's a few for ya, dude. Soarin' and Braeburn, Uncle Orange and Crescent Sparkle, Octavia and Rarity, Zecora and Gilda, and Babs Seed and Apple Bloom

Soarin and Braeburn

I'm mostly puzzled about how the two of them would end up meeting really. I don't really see Braeburn as the type that would be interested in the Wonderbolts and I don't really see Soarin vacationing in Appleloosa. 

Well, maybe he went for the Apple Pie wars. Who knows.

As far as personalities go, I suppose I could see them getting along. Braeburn being the energetic and happy fellow, and Soarin being the carefree athletic flyer. Nothing really strikes out to me as something that be outright 'Oh yeah this would be a problem between them' other than how they would meet.

So I suppose if you can get around that, the ship works fine.

Uncle Orange and Crescent Sparkle

Don't really know if I see these two as a couple really heh. I admit, I've rather enjoyed your fanons about how the father's got to know each other due to the kids and how Aunt and Uncle Orange get along in this whole mix, but as a romantic couple I have a hard time seeing it.

I think it's mostly due to the fact that both characters are pretty open to interpretation, other than Crescent being a 'Good Dad' as portrayed in canon. So really I can't have much to oppose here as there's not much character to break and you can pretty much do as you like.

So sure I don't think I see it, but come up with the right fanon and yeah it could work out just fine.

Octavia and Rarity

I suppose if there was ever a 'High Class Mare' that Rarity would want for herself, Octavia would be one to fit that bill. 

From that aspect, I could pretty easily see these two getting together. Especially with Rarity more and more getting into the sophisticated world of Canterlot in which Octavia lives, and through Rarity Octavia would be able to take breaks from the overly active life of a Canterlot elite.

I approve, it's a sensible ship.

Zecora and Gilda

I assume this is a ship of the canon misfits? Though I'd say Gilda is a bit more of a misfit than even Zecora is, but makes enough sense for a one-shot character.

Honestly, I don't really see Zecora being the type to put up with Gilda's attitude. I mean sure, Gilda has her mellow moments, but when she is furious she is REALLY furious. And Zecora would be the type of mare to see right through that sort of behavior immediately. Gilda also tends to be an 'all about me' attitude when it comes to interacting with other people, so even when in a relationship she'd be focusing on how it could make her happier to be in it.

I honestly don't think this is a very strong ship. It has plenty of holes, all of them being on Gilda's side of the ship. Maybe if Gilda got her act together and started to understand that the world doesn't revolve around her this ship could work. But until then, I'm afraid it's doomed to sink. I give it a 'no'.

Babs Seed and Applebloom

I've actually seen this around as a pretty dang popular ship for Applebloom. Applecest is popular in the community ain't it? I guess if they can see the romantic value in it sure, but it certainly turns squicky real quick for people not into it heh

As for the relationship... Nothing really jumps out to me as wrong personality wise, just the whole 'They are cousins' thing. Babs had her character development in the episode and after that her and Applebloom definitely had some deeper bonding as friends, though I don't know if I saw it in a romantic sense. At the very least, from a personality point, I suppose I could see it happening... but not quickly.

Like it'd be one of those ships that neither of them would really be admitting to and it would take forever for either of them to be able to admit that they have feelings for the other, heck probably even leading to some awkward quarrels and internal politics about falling in love with a blood relative, but in the end they could succumb and decide to give it a try since they've been fighting it for so long and feel that maybe it's worth a shot.

So the ship gets a half-approval. Could go either way really.
