Organic Asset: Using pareidolia, I decided to sketch random shapes and try visualise an object that could be organic located in outer space. I only added some colour for my own reference.

Hard surface asset: I followed the same process as the organic asset and proceeded with the sketching.

Using the smudge tool on PS and a series of brushes with low opacity, I tried to develop the random shapes into something. Although this was a fun experiment, I decided to continue developing the design on paper. I decided to step back and do some more research to develop the two designs I chose to continue with. Taking a step back has been extremely beneficial.
