Send me a ♪ for a drabble of our muses based on a song I listened to recently
Blade wasn’t one to panic on the battlefield, and he wasn’t one to panic in public either. No. He always remained collected where ever he went. Granted, even then he may lose his temper a bit. Even then, it’s minor. But he never freaks out. No. He never does...
Occasionally, he can’t help but end up curling in on himself in a corner. He’s never told Raven nor has he told Rex about the times that this has happened. They didn’t need to know.
He still remembers Seris’s cold body laying in front of him and how powerless he was to save her, he still remembers the things he had done under the Nasods’ control and how he couldn’t fight back no matter how hard he tried, he still remembered the look on Rex’s face just as the building fell on top of him as he did nothing to save him-.
There was a click of the door opening. He clutched the kitchen knife he had grabbed from Rex and Raven’s kitchen due to how naked he felt without one and grasped it tightly. He tried slowing his breath down as best he could, but. Occasionally, his breath still hitched.
“Oi, old timer you in here?” Called a familiar voice. No... No no no. Despite how happy he would be to see Lusa at any other point in time... Right now he didn’t need him here.
He heard Lusa mutter a quick; “Where the fuck is that bird brain...” Before pausing. Shit. He heard Lusa’s foot steps come closer to him and froze when a hand touched his shoulder, forcing him to turn around. “There ya are, don’t fuckin’ ignore me like-.” He paused when he saw Blade’s face.
[🔪] “Lusa. Leave.” He snapped. Lusa’s eyebrows furrowed and he sighed. He didn’t mean to snap at him like that. It didn’t sound threatening though, just tired and weak. He hated feeling like this. He hated that Lusa had to see him in this state. He let’s out a sigh. “...I didn’t mean that... Sorry. I-...” He didn’t continue that sentence.
He was in a pathetic state at the moment and he hated it. Tears were obscuring his vision too much for him to see Lusa’s reaction.
Lusa stayed silent before letting out a sigh. “I dunno what’s goin’ on in that head of yours but. If y’need to, talk to me, ‘kay-?” Blade didn’t let him say anything more as he hugged Lusa.
