sad announcement to make. after nearly two months’ work on orbital, i’m sad to say that crys will be going on semi-hiatus as an admin, which also goes for lily. they’re both returning to the u.s after a study away program over the summer, & will be awfully sporadic in activity, unfortunately. as soon as they settle in, they’ll be back as admins ! but for now, with a heavy heart, i bid them a temporary goodbye. crys will occasionally be online to check the main, & lily will remain active on her character, kiraie. however, the main’s activity will mostly consist of my posts from now on. thank you <3

hello orbital members !! i unfortunately encountered a family emergency over the weekend & was unable to attend to admin duties ;; no worries ! in approximately two days, i’ll be back from out of state & will get acceptances done as well as event organization. i have also been looking into accepting new admins ( we currently have three new potential mods!! ) in order to keep the main running more efficiently. i apologize deeply for my absence, & i hope everyone is doing well ! thank you for understanding <3

notice that we will have an OFFICIAL DISCORD CHANNEL ! please like this post & we will message the link to you in your im’s. in the discord channel, events will take place, as well as a “lunae watercooler” system, which will work as a functional little whiteboard, which could be pictured as a general ‘chat’ for lunae crew members on their portable holoscreens. please don’t rush with getting a discord ! the discord will not be crucial, and events will not necessarily always take place on discord, it will usually be on the dash.

just saying though...surprise plot developments & crucial events will possibly be relayed every now & then on discord :)

& with that, orbital is officially open !! reserves for opening night expire in approximately two hours - reserves are welcome to apply & be accepted in the same night ! also, we have several acceptance posts queued up but refuse to post for some reason ... we will make sure this is fixed. for now, please refer to our follow list & make sure to follow everyone ! the tags to track are as follows:

hello ! this is the collective admin team of orbital, we’re finally all online together. we received approximately 7-8 messages from our reserve applicants & accepted members to extend our opening to another date, since this is the middle of the week, & no doubt, people are very busy. we don’t want to rush any of our members, neither do we want to extend pressure on sending in apps last minute. therefore, could we have some of our current members tell us whether they would be okay with a FRIDAY OPENING ? currently the admin vote is split between lily voting for tonight’s opening, while crys & i have voted for extending the opening date. please do let us know in the ask, pm’s, or just reply to the post itself ! 

we will post an official announcement by 9PM, whether we will proceed with tonight’s opening, or extend it to a later date. thank you for being patient with us, & if you’ve been accepted, we cannot wait to welcome you to the lunae. thank you !

admin ade here ! we’re absolutely stunned & thrilled that orbital received this wonderful response, & i am happy to announce that we have set an opening date ! since we don’t want our opening to be too far off, we’ve settled on WEDNESDAY, 10PM EST. we will be accepting all apps that we've reviewed, & from then on, apps will be reviewed & accepted on a rolling basis every saturday. all applications submitted before 10PM will be reviewed & accepted during our grand opening, so don’t hesitate to send in yours ! once again, thank you so, so much, & we hope you’re just as excited as we are !

50 minutes to go ! the admin team is currently preparing acceptance posts & getting ready to meet our lovely members <3 once again, i can’t stop repeating myself but i’ll say it anyways - thank you so much for your extended support. when we first opened orbital a week ago, we hardly expected any interest, due to our plot being related to a specific film universe . . . but we have been blessed with an incredible influx of amazing & well-written characters for orbital’s universe. thank you again & again, & we can’t wait to meet you guys.
