What are the benefits to being a robot rather than a living, breathing person, Frank? I've struggled with thinking about this myself.
The benefits to being a robot are, for me at least, twofold. First, I enjoy thinking and talking about things on a very abstract level, and robot bodies don't provide distractions from this. Second, I suspect that a long-term "robot consciousness" would be the kind of thing where I'd "develop the ability to be at peace with myself and not feel driven to try to change it" in a way that I don't think human beings can do (given our current psychology). (To the extent that I believe I can do this anyway, it's because I can "escape" my own mind through certain states of mind, as I've said.)

Heheheh, glad you like his look! I almost forgot to share the concept sketch but this is as good an excuse as any:
I took inspiration from Gutsman.EXE and Club Strong from Megaman Battle Network and Star Force respectively.
Orbot was made as the on-board AI for the Egg Dragoon specifically, but Cubot here specifically wanted to have a cool mech with Big-Arm's... big arms. Since he also likes to help with construction and take part in robot-gladiator battles for other robots to enjoy, it was justified enough to get made.
you can make an obvious guess as to what wisp-power cubot usually uses

That is also fair ! Certainly he is not doing much to endear himself to anyone. I will also be laughing if some one decides they want Siege back now and take him by force.
But really, this is one of the tamest incidences I have seen. And I am a person who has seen rather a number of incidences, I think.
Siege is free to do as he likes, but that does not end with him! Our proclaimed kidnapper is also free to do as he pleases, as well.
