If by "caught by accident" you mean they were hired to kill an orca but when Moby Doll didn't die he was dragged back to shore by a harpoon and if by "first orca in captivity" you mean first orca in captivity after Wanda the actual first orca in captivity, than this book it totally factual.
I always get excited when orca books show up at my work, but I really wish they would get their facts straight. I know it is a book for kids, but come on look at that hook in him!
