I’ve been a big fan of Jimmy Hewitt’s music for the past few years (as both Orca Orca, Lost Film and everything in between), so it’s with great excitement that I heard the first single from his forthcoming debut full length as Lost Film. As things have shifted and moved out of the bedroom over time, he’s now expanded and filled out into a band collective, allowing the new material a broader, immediate sound. “Ok, Lost” kicks off with a shadowy, post punk style rhythm before a lovely, springy guitar riff drops in - giving the track a darkly romantic beauty that is going to sound even better come autumn. Don’t sleep on this glimmering burst of pop excellence.
