It’s relatively a simple thing, really. You want to feel like a normal person for more than two seconds, and you can’t remember the last time you got to do that. Even if you use your powers, that’s not simply living and getting by, that’s showing off, and you haven’t shown off what you can do in a really long time.
That would just be nice.
Visiting someone without a transportalizer wasn’t the easiest thing in the world, but it was more than possible, and you had the technology to make it happen. It did require some hacking, but jade has done the heavy lifting there a long time ago, and once more, you use that gift to go on an adventure.
An adventure made up of window shopping, and if you were lucky, a coffee house.
Still, you didn’t want to be too flashy, so a t-shit, overshirt, and jeans were the order of the day. What kind of weather would there be where Rose was? You didn’t really know.
