honestly, a lot of hozier songs give me this dark gothic vibe that really just fits them as a whole, but the lyrics of this one just have that Something Extra that made me pick it in particular.

II. cosmic love ━ florence & the machine
again, very much the vibes, the imagery of a cosmic darkness that the lyrics evoke, but finding each other in that darkness anyway even when all else has been blown out. i'll let the lyrics speak for themselves.

this one i picked mostly from radagon's point of view, since we've talked p extensively about his mindset post saving from the erdtree, his depression, his identity issues, that feeling of not being worthy and not even wanting to be worthy. so though this isn't really a couple song as it were, i'm imagining it as radagon addressing godfrey.
