In order to make the sewer look more creative, I placed a couple of different colored leafs to give it more of a “fall” feel. I learned from this assignment that the smallest changes could make the biggest difference for ordinary objects such as the drain
In this assignment, it was required to take up to 25 photos all of the same drain/ sewer. Though, every picture will look different since the point of view, timing, distance, and arrangement of objects differ. Even after photographing this ordinary every day object, I discovered that the angle photos are taken could make the object’s details more drawn to. I went about making this ordinary drain to look extraordinary by really focusing on the texture and the words imprinted.

In order to make this ordinary sewer drain more interesting, I added a rose to the water. I peeled each petal off of the rose to add a more dramatic feeling to the photograph. The contrast from the red in the rose and the darkness of the water, is beautiful.
In this photo for my Photo 1100 class I had to take a picture of a sewer. To make the photo more interesting, I took advantage of the words “Dump No Waste!” on the sewer and placed a red solo cup (waste) above the sewer. The bright red color also adds a lot of color to the bland earth tones of the background.
This is one of my sewer photos for my Photo 1100 class. To make the photo more interesting, I threw a soccer ball into the air and let it bounce and then captured it mid bounce in front of the sewer as if there was a game of street soccer happening near the sewer.
