"Oreline? Is that you?" Markie examined her closely as she ran towards him, and when she did come close, his lips pulled back into a bright smile. "Oreline! It is you! How are yo- oh wow! Thank you so much Oreline! I’m so glad you got my gift! And you’re welcome, I made it a point to make it extra special!” He grinned really brightly as he took the basket from her.
Taking a little piece of maple pastry, he then took a quick bite and beamed as the sweetness of the treat filled his tastebuds.
"These treats, they’re really tasty, too! They’re really delicious as well, Oreline! Thanks again! Merry Christmas!" He exclaimed, hugging her out of delight.
