This is a highly important part to our culture and it is very insulting to see people make fun of it. Yes, it is nice to see people go "Oh! Look! How nice!", but making fun of it and/or remixes of it are huge insults

This is a practice that sufi muslims do to create a strong bond with Allah, and seeing people basically mocking it or even making it into music is very insulting and has to stop.

This isn't music. This isn't a little song for you to make remixes about. This isn't a little dance for you to go "Haha it's me and the boys at our sleepover."

people need to learn that a video/image description is not a place for your slang or for your little comments.

you don't add “Himbo of the century”. You don't say she “yeeted” him. you don't comment on how she needs to chill.

descriptions of media isn't your place to laugh and have fun. it's to help others have access to posts.

also can we stop tagging discussions about unreality/schizophrenia as “unreality tw” and “derealization tw” etc.? i get it if it describes the content in detail to get the point through, but just discussions should not be tagged.

it filters it from the people that need the post most. really i only see these posts when i work myself up on a good day to just find out it was a discussion.

thanks to this i've also clicked on posts containing actual unreality thinking it would be a discussion and ended up harming myself.

if you want it tagged soo badly, please just go for “unreality discussion” or the likes.
