The evening is warm, but it doesn’t bother Cardia one bit. While having perused her options for the festival, few of the activities are ones she can participate in, so after the day is near gone she finds herself by one of the fire pits, away from the buzz of the party. Wanting to sit and watch the flames, she’s about to until a familiar face is spotted here as well. One of her roommates sits alone, and although she has crossed his path within their house before, they have yet to speak with one another; he doesn’t seem to be the social type, so she has been mindful of space. Although shy with meeting the people she lives with, she can’t avoid them all forever. Approaching him to the side, she asks, “Are you also spending time alone tonight?”
