I went to Orewa after work.

Even though it was nearly eight o’clock the sea was still really lovely and warm and there were people doing all sorts of stuff (dragon boating, surfing, waterskiing, swimming, paddling, sand castle building, dogs running and swimming, people having their dinner at the beach, playing on playgrounds it was really lovely)
