I didn't always get juicy twists. I had to put the work in and pay attention to what my hair needed. Transitioning takes work but it's worth it. #Organher #NoFilter #TwistOut #CamilleRose #BlackGirlMagic

I'm throwing my old school hair bonnet in the trash. Last night was 'night 2' of me sleeping in it. No slip and my edges stayed in the cap. Not to mention it's lined with satin. I love, love, love it!!! #Organher
Happy Monday! Every Monday is an opportunity for you to set new weekly goals. Many people talk to me about the transition phase of returning to their natural. It's tough but if you're consistently consistent you will be blessed with the results. Don't give up!!! #Organher #OrganherGirl

Martin Delany (May 6, 1812 – Jan. 24, 1885) Martin Robison Delany was an African-American abolitionist, journalist, physician and writer. He was born free in Charles Town, W.Va. (then part of Virginia, a slave state). Delany was an outspoken Black nationalist, arguably the first; and is considered by some to be the grandfather of Black nationalism. He was also one of the first three Blacks admitted to Harvard Medical School. Trained as an assistant and a physician, he treated patients during the cholera epidemics of 1833 and 1854 in Pittsburgh, when many doctors and residents fled the city. Active in recruiting Blacks for the United States Colored Troops, he was commissioned as a major, the first African-American field officer in the United States Army during the American Civil War. #EachOneTeachOne #Organher #BlackHistory #BlackHistoryMonth #Day2
