About the Song The inspiration for the song is 3-fold, 1. from a childhood yoruba playful 'folk' song - when kids playing outside see an aeroplane fly by, they run after it singing the song which I adapted into the chorus here (see lyrics below) 2. the lyrics of the first verse is a cry of the fatherless male child and 3.the lyrics of the second verse - I was thinking about the "Chibok girls that have not been brought back" (#BringBackOurGirls) all these scenarios weave into this nostalgic, emotional yet reminiscent song that I hope will pull your heartstrings as you listen.
