I updated origin and now it won't let me play...

Got it to work by DLing an older origin setup file from filehippo and installing that. Build 10.5.41.27263.

so i can’t seem to log into origin anymore which means everything i’ve purchased and all my saves are lost and thats fucking annoying

like i have my origin name but can’t figure out what email its attached to? i haven’t opened the sims in months and then for the past month or so i can’t even log back in??

Is anyone else having the issue with EA/Origin not letting you “log-in” in offline mode? I keep typing in my correct email and password but it’s giving me the, “Cannot login during offline for the first time” Idk what that even means? I’m just trying to play sims 4 omg...

My origin deleted my dave files for dead space. And it’s really hard not to “sound” mad at Bikash while he tries to find the right cloud data.

‘Kay. So I finally called back tonight.

Got someone, Assad I think is how you spell his name, that was able to quickly find someone who could answer the question for me. (Thank you floor support/supervisor!!)

Apparently, you need to create your personal Origin ID and contact SWTOR about severing the connection/merging the account properly. Only issue is that you run the risk of wiping your characters and losing all your progress.

Not entirely sure if Mirage is interested in doing that now.. I wouldn’t, with so many higher level characters @_@

SWTOR Story Time!

So, last year or the year before, me and my boyfriend started playing SWTOR together. By account sharing.

It was my account, my login, that we were sharing. We weren’t playing that often, and Mirage was more into than me. Then we started playing more. We had to split the account since we couldn’t dual-log.

He kept the account, changed the email addy and resumed, BAU.

I created a new SWTOR and relinked it to my Origin account by using the same email addy.

All hunky-dory, yeah?

Nup.

So, yesterday I had to change my password because it was being stupid. As per usual, I had to actually do it twice because it never takes correctly.

Today, I had to change it four times. Even changed my email password because I was freaked that someone had hijacked it.

I vaguely hear Mirage talking about password problems.

<Hmm...>

I bring up my Origin. And wait.

That little blue bar comes up.

My password has changed.

Here we are, an hour later, 15-20 of it on hold so far, with a very confused representative who simply can’t wrap his head around the issue.

At his prompting, and to try to help him understand, I changed my Origin password twice. Mirage could only log in through the password I changed my Origin to. Even with his Security Key app tied to his SWTOR. I don’t have that tied to mine.

The rep only sees my account and Mirage’s account. He can’t see my SWTOR account that stands alone with it’s unique password.

He’s been great, kudos to Kumar. He’s been a doll and I really appreciate him trying to understand. He’s currently trying to elevate the case further up, so I’m just waiting.

I’ll update this post as things progress.

Update: Not really any progres... Was on hold for 45 minutes probably. Hung up. Will call them tomorrow or something to see if the thing was updated.
