I recently contacted Origin because I have 2 accounts I have games on and wanted to merge them. Apparently, you would lose EVERYTHING on both accounts if you do this. Why are they even providing this? It's no wonder Origin is such a failure to begin with. Below is the conversation with the agent, who was very friendly, albeit very difficult to understand.

you: I want to merge these accounts, making the  (Account email Edited for Obvious reasons) account the only account

PankajAre you doing it for Dragon age keep?

you: I am doing so for all the games on that account

Pankaj: May I know which account you want as your primary account?

you (Account email Edited for Obvious reasons)

Pankaj: I am afraid but due to the dragon age issue it would not be possible to do account merging because if it happens it will delete all your game.

Pankaj: Our technical team is working on it I hope we would be soon able to merge the account which are having dragon age.

you: I would lose the actual game or the gameplay?

Pankaj: You will lose your all the games, but let me check what else I can do for you.

Pankaj: I am working on your issue, would you mind to wait for a minute so I can check something else for you?

you: Sure I can wait

Pankaj: Thank you.

Pankaj: Can you please provide me one more answer of the question for your account security?

you: Sure

Pankaj: the question is

What is the name of your favorite pet?

you:  ( Edited for Obvious reasons)

Pankaj: Thank you, I am looking into your issue please give me a little more time.

Pankaj: Thank you very much for waiting.

Pankaj: As I have checked it we cannot provide you all the game in same account but we can provide you one more option of email swap.

Pankaj: Would you like me to do that?

you: Why does Origins provide a service of transfers, only to have your customers lose their games?

Pankaj: I can understand it, but our technical teams are working on it soon we will have the option of account merging for all the games, actually its all happens in the dragon age account.

you: Can they not simply provide me with the Dragon Age game serial and I can add it to my merged account? Is that really that difficult?

Pankaj: It is really not possible for us to provide you the serial, because if it will happen you will lose all of your game.

Pankaj: We are working on this issue, our technical team will soon get a solution for this and we will soon have a solution.

Pankaj: And it will happen we have saved your request we will soon contact you through mail to process your request.

you: Well, I don't want the transfer if I'm going to lose games I own.

Outsourced... Plus, I tell this guy everything about the issue he needs to know in my first post and does he waste my time asking me questions that I've already provided answers to? YES! Sweet mother of fucks...
