Origin Variants
Nestled deep with the Forest of Primordia there lies a shrine, dedicated to a Legendary Pokemon that once visited the Verritas Region long ago, Celebi. The Pokemon is known outside of the region to create massive forests, and the Forest of Primordia is no different. What makes the Forest unique is what lies within it.
The shrine is dedicated to the second aspect of Celebi, It’s nature as a time traveler. If one brings the correct materials to the shrine, they may perform a ritual that will allow the performer to travel to a time long ago, where many extinct Pokemon thrive. These Pokemon exist in the modern day through fossil rejuvenation, a science which is just as active in Verritas as it is in other regions, but this process corrupts the Pokemon, splicing the Rock type into them.
