Ideas I have for some creepypasta ocs that I'll get around to writing when I'm not flooded with classwork/assignments.
The Tattoo Keeper.
He's a tattoo artist that looks like a normal bloke all things considered. (I've already drawn a concept sketch for him, and I've gone back and tagged him with #The Tattoo Keeper if you wanna check him out.)
His whole deal is that he's a roaming killer.
He'll get someone to commission him out of a pop-up location. He will put the design they wanted onto a fake skin. He'll remove a tattoo of theirs and replace it with the fake skin.
So he only accepts people who have tattoos he likes.
He'll leave them to bleed out so his actual kill count is fairly low.
He's a general metaphor for when someone takes your bodily autonomy in some way, not just the most common one that probably came to your head.
In fact I'm going to actively avoid giving him any form of sexual motivation for what he does, because I do want the metaphor to be far reaching, and I'm personally not interested in writing that specific theme of horror. (Especially not for an oc that would be the protag of B Slasher fic)
And that comes to the general vibe I want for him.
There's no way a bloke like this would exist without some serious police negligence at every level.
I want him to be more akin to those early 2010s urban legend pastas where you just threw edgy shit at the wall in the vain of 'did you read that one about the guy that steals tattoos, it's fucked'
So I understand that if people aren't on board with campy hyper violence he's not gonna land, but I personally like this idea so imma do it regardless.
The Flower Queen.
She's an eldritch entity that to most people looks like a figure made solely of flower blooms, specifically Australian natives like wattle, bottlebrush and kangaroo paws.
She stands at roughly 6 feet tall and the typical person can only see her eyes.
She is mainly seen at medieval festivals/ren faires. She'll hang around the outskirts and will only wait for people to react to her.
Her victims will see the face of a woman, her form shifts depending on who is perceiving her, she'll take the form that the victim is most likely to trust.
She won't kill her victims straight away, instead she keeps them close and shows them kindness they haven't experienced before. She slowly eats at them, the victim very rarely realises she's the reason they feel drained.
After she's taken all her victim can give she asks them to follow her into the woods alone, they are never seen again.
Her thematic through line is that of an abusive relationship. And to some extent the factors that can led to someone being uniquely vulnerable that type of relationship.
The story itself is going to take place through the pov of an unaffected person, someone that watched and somewhat contributed to the bullying that The Flower Queen's victim undergoes and leads them into her clutches.
This is a mirroring of something I've noticed in a lot of Australia's awareness campaigns where a theoretical victim's suffering is maximised to induce sympathy for the cause, but victims are very rarely centered and the systemic issues that can factor in are largely ignored.
The Flower Queen only arriving at medieval festivals is also intentional, in rural towns it's usually the a time where most people who are ostracised are allowed to just exist for a moment. (Seriously a medieval festival was the first time I saw a real fursuit, and it was a vibe) Second it's an on the nose reference to this being a timeless problem. As long as people are capable of being shitty, abusive relationships will always be a thing.
The Failed Proxy.
This one is the one I want to do the most with, and will probably take the longest to actually write out.
Not only is this intended to be a partial rewrite but also a partial character exploration for Jeff, Jane, Liu and The Failed Proxy.
I want this set up in kind of a flashback, flash forward way, where there's snippets before and after Jeff kills his and then Jane's family.
But the themes I want to explore in this one are a lot more complex, and getting my wires crossed could easily led to some unintentional messaging.
The Failed Proxy:
The slender sicknees in this, is more a metaphor for not having an illness taken seriously or even diagnosed despite how many doctors you go too. Also that getting into codependent friendships can be just as damaging as codependent romantic relationships.
Jeff:
The other part of that codependent friendship. But I also want to explore the themes of how being visible lasting injuries/disability can a lot of infantalisation and lack of agency that were present in Pastra's rewrite, it was an extremely interesting take on this character and I'm not saying I can do it better, but at least I won't reduce all that to the twist of Jeff just being CrAzY (I'm still salty about that if you couldn't tell)
Jane:
Basically all the ways guilt and hatred can destroy a person, her original concept was that she killed Jeff's victims before he could as a mercy. I want to bring that back to her character, and see what it will take to make that believable. She's going to go through it.
And finally Liu :
I have no fucking idea. I hate the whole 'Sully' thing, someone with D.I.D has a killer alter was such a stigmatising and common trope that it was the initial reason why the name was changed from Split Personality Disorder to D.I.D and I don't want to contribute to that.
For the most part, the rough draft that only exists in my head, he represents the idea of there isn't a prefect victim, he contributed to Jeff's controlling environment and he's kinda just insufferable, but he is still the victim. I'll need to figure that out a bit more before I move forward with this project, so I'm open to ideas haha.
The biggest thing about this one, while it is how I interrupt these characters, The Failed Proxy himself isn't meant to be an extension of any of them, he as a whole won't change the status quo when I use these character after that point. (or anybody else who wants to use this when I write it lol)
I'm also planning a Nina The Killer rewrite, but I have no idea when I'll get around to that lmao.
