So how about them Creatures of Grimm, huh
This is based on Sleipnir.
RWBY OCs part 1:
Name: Hellebore Chrysochlorous
Age: 17
Height: 6' 1"
Birthday: May 11th
Zodiac: Taurus
Hair color: Light chocolate brown
Eye color: admiral and sky blue
Faunus trait: eagle tail feathers
Allusion: James Hawkins (Treasure Island)
Aura Color: Gold (like jewelry gold)
Kingdom of Origin: Atlas
Status: Active; currently attending Beacon Academy.
Huntsmen team: HEVN
Role: Leader of Team HEVN
Partner: Echium Watercress
Biography:
Born in Atlas along with his younger sister Delphinia "Nia". Hellebore would go on to attend Atlas Academy. However, he would soon be transferred [expelled] to Beacon for disregarding rules and disobeying Gen. Ironwood's orders not to engage approaching Grimm. Hellebore engaged a lesser Rok and killed it, but disobeyed orders regardless.
Semblance: "Frame By Frame".
When activated he can create an after image trail behind him with a frame by frame effect. Similar to Neon Katt's rainbow trail. However, the clones number at only ten. As he continues to move the last disappears, replaced by the next to last.
Weapons: "Aeternum" and "Semper"
As an Atlas Academy student, Hellebore designed and smithed his weapons himself (as all Huntsmen Academy students do). They're a pair of twin wrist-blades combined with a rifle. The wrist-blades are mounted to a metalic bracer that covers the entire forearm, and can withdraw and collapse into the bracer. A second pair of shorter blades pop out downwards to bracket the wrist and sides of the hand. Running between each blade is a rifle's barrel which fires Gravity and Fire Dust ammunition. Said ammunition circles the bracer on a belt similar to both Yang and Coco's ammunition. Together the bracers are named "Aeternum" and "Semper", which is Latin for "Forever" and "Always". Uniquely, the right bracer has an port where his scroll can fit to monitor aspects of combat, like Aura levels and communication.
Style:
Wears body armor. (I don't know how to articulate it, but it's thinner and covers all but his head.) A extra long scarf that dangles to his ankles, like those ninja characters sometimes. It's gradient green to gold. On the end is his emblem. He built a pair of gravity Dust boots that he wears. They allow him to hover.
Family:
Mother: Hyacinth Darling (Peter Pan, one of the Darling children)
Father: Silver Chrysochlorous (Treasure Island, John Silver)
Sister: Delphinia "Nia" Chrysochlorous (Treasure Island, Dr. Livesey)
Adoptive cousin to Echium Watercress and Viridian Foxglove
Nephew to Biscotti Darling (Peter Pan, Mrs. Darling)
Nephew-in-law to Sepia Darling (Peter Pan, Mr. Darling)
Trivia:
He owns a Gravity Sail he built himself
He knows how to juggle, and he does it frequently when he's bored
His parents are divorced but he and his sister kept their father's surname, and their mother took hers back.
Looks up to General Ironwood
there’s nine of those and there’s a clone of a silver-eyed twink in each of them-
Here is a janky sketch of the Grimm I came up with for my fic Azarathagoraphobia! I am not the greatest at digital art, but I might try it if only to make this art look a little less janky.
This is the Rakleft. It's a tick like Grimm that starts off small, around an inch, and grows to about the size of a hand when attached to its victim. It feeds off of aura, which allows it to grow that big.
It injects the victim which venom, which is stored in a red sack under its endoskeleton. This allows it to do a lot of stuff to them.
Hallucinations are it's main power. It can make you see, hear, and even think thinks you never would've.
It's main goal is to make its victim feel alone. If they are in a group it will seem like the group hates them and wants to leave them behind. And if the victim is still on the fence, it can force them to "think" it's true.
Any negative feelings brought on by this will be amplified by the venom, which will attract nearby Grimm a lot easier.
And while this Grimm is smart, it has to be to make it convincing and to be able to hide so well, it is very weak. Stabbing it with a pencil will kill it easily. Their main defense is their tight grip and their smarts. If the aura of the host is above a quarter, it will be rejected(which is why it feeds off the aura). So to get it off with the least amount of danger to the host would be to boost their aura.
Or, you could just rip it off. But that could cause serious damage to the host, since the Grimm it attached in multiple places on the neck and they don't have a lot of aura to begin with.
Both methods are very painful to the host, and they will resist any treatment that is trying to be given to them because of the mistrust put there by the Grimm.
I'm probably missing some details, but that's about it! You can use this Grimm on fanfics if you want, just tag me so I can read it!
Also for credit or whatever.
Racket Kids
Once there was a boy, and he had a dog. The dog was gentle, but the boy was mean, and one day he beat the dog so violently that its spine snapped.
His mother had been watching from the kitchen, and she cried, and fell into a pan of meat. The boy came back and didn't recognize her, so he ate her for dinner. Later he was SICK and DIED.

Wish List
Here's my Christmas list for the year. I cannot wait to reread these Grimm tales in their gory originalish* details. I must have had one of the middle versions growing up, because I do remember Cinderella's step sisters cutting off parts of their feet, but lots more seems totally new.
*After all, they still went through at least one filter, by the brothers collecting them and writing them down.
