Preference #8: How you meet (blurb)
Nash: You walk towards the coffee table impatient to leave the emergency room. It's not like it was your fault Danny had decided to act stupid on a four wheeler. Your friend's cousin is known for his bold and daring acts of stupidity. As you turn around you nearly bump into somebody also coming for the coffee. You throw out a quick apology trying not to blush as you notice how attractive this boy is. “It’s okay…uh…-?”
“Y/n.” You smile sticking your hand out awkwardly. He smiled and slowly shook your hand.
“I’m Nash.” He replies dropping your hand after realizing he was still shaking it. You asked him what put him in the emergency waiting room.
“My friend is about to get fourteen or so stitches for stepping on a tin can.” He laughed at your puzzled expression and sat with you to tell you the whole story.
Taylor: “Excuse me lady, may I have this dance?” A small boy in a tuxedo asked standing as tall as he could confidently. You grin recognizing him as one of the ring bearers from the groom’s side of the family.
“Yes, yes you may.” You granted the boy permission and he grasped your hands and tried to lead you through out the song. When it finished and he gave you a small bow you turned feeling a tap on your shoulder. You looked up to see a brown haired brown eyed boy smiling down at you dazzlingly. “May I have this next dance?” He asked in a similar fashion evoking a laugh from you along with a blush. “Yes You may…?”
Jack G: “Who even is that?” You question baffled at the sudden reaction your friends had upon seeing some dark haired guy when you walked into starbucks. Immediately their responses consisted of whisper yells such as ‘Are you kidding me?’ or ‘How could you not know him?’ “Alright you don’t have to be so judgey but who is he then?” You ask at normal tone level. “Jack Gilinsky.” One replied in a ‘duh’ tone.
“Who is…?” They all sighed at you. “He’s a viner!” They hiss back trying to get you to quiet as well. Soon their debate as to who should ask for a picture started. You rolled your eyes exasperated with their procrastination. You walked over to him casually tapping him on the shoulder. He turned to look up at you sipping his drink; “Hi. My friends are too chicken to ask you for a picture, so would you take one with them?”
Cameron: “Okay is it going?” You ask your friend as she held the phone up and nodded. You loved your new sociology class. Your latest project was to capture reactions of holding hands with strangers some you ask first others you just jumped right in and grabbed their hand. You found an open-handed target and began to walk with them grasping their hand trying your best not to burst out laughing for his reaction. The stranger only gave your hand a squeeze though and looked down at you. You were beyond baffled no one yet had reacted like this; “Um-”
“Hi.” He grinned at you. As he looked at you it slowly dawned how absolutely gorgeous and familiar this stranger was. He gave you a rather expectant but patient look.
“That was different…” You say awkwardly. He laughed in response and you realized where you recognized him from; he was an internet sensation. You also laugh and begin to explain. “I am so sorry,” You giggle, “I have this sociology project and I was just…” You begin to explain your scenario evoking a laugh from each of you. As soon as you were ready to walk away he hesitantly called back to you, “Hey do you maybe...uh do you want to get coffee or something?”
Matt: You were laying on the couch at your mom’s neighbor’s house in California laughing at something one of the guys said when the doorbell rang.
“Hey man,” You heard JC answer it and footsteps enter the house. You looked up from your phone to see a brown eyed boy smiling at you from a slight distance causing you to blush. He quickly looked away and followed JC to the backyard. “Hey, y/n, this is Matt.”
Shawn: “When I was a kid my grandfather was a preacher…” You sang quietly to yourself practically mumbling as you looked for your brand of shampoo in the target aisle. “He’d talk about God he was something like a teacher..." You jumped when a sudden voice joined you. You weren't much of a singer- just when you were alone- so when you looked up at the boy who joined in you couldn't help but feel a pink blush rise in your cheeks. "I'm Shawn." He smiled extending a hand to you.
Jack J: You wanted to toss a volleyball around at the beach with your friends. Seeing the court was taken by a group of guys. You noticed one of them ran over to the side of the court to grab a swig of water from their bottle. You jogged over to him and smiled at him as he got back up from the ground.
"Hey, I'm y/n. My friends and I were wondering if we could join you?" You weren't sure what he was thinking as he stared at you but you sure did feel self conscious in your bikini. "Um..." You said trying to get him to speak. He shook his head.
"Sorry." He shook his head embarrassed at himself. "Uh,I'm Jack." He replied. You jump as a volleyball narrowly missed hitting the both of you. He reached out to grab your shoulder and shield you only able to hear it and not see it. "Watch it!" He yelled back to his friends.
"Get your ass over here and bring the hot girl too!"
Aaron: You jumped and jumped doing your best to reach the peanut butter jar. The stupid grocery store had to put your favorite kind on the top shelf so you couldn’t reach it. “Do you need me to grab that?” A voice asked you. You turned around a blush creeping onto your cheeks as you nodded at him. He reached up with ease-however upon grabbing the peanut butter managed to knock down several other things in the process. You giggled at his embarrassment and helped him pick up the items. “I’m Aaron…”
Carter: You got up from your blanket set before the lake where the fireworks would be taking place going to order a hot dog from a vendor. You turned around feeling a tap on your shoulder after you paid for it. “Sorry, I couldn't help but notice you’re-like really, really pretty.
