Kol’s bedroom in his family’s newest residence was predictably enormous and, even more predictably, thoroughly cluttered with his various belongings. He contemplated sorting it all, picking through the mess of clothes and books and peculiar dark objects in search of the necessities — so, basically, anything that might just put that adorably awestruck expression on Davina’s face — and had yet to decide if the effort would even prove to be fruitful when it rather suddenly occurred to him that he was no longer alone. “Out with it, Elijah,” Kol muttered, not bothering to turn around and face his brother. Rather, he frowned at one looming mountain of clutter and considered reaching for something lodged right in the middle of it.
