"What is your why?" I enrolled in @theafterseven's "Social Media Masterclass for Creatives" in a bold attempt to take myself seriously as a 'professional' artist (and by professional, I meant that I was going to be doing this as a profession), and one of the easiest, yet at the same time hardest questions I had to answer was "Why" I was doing what I did. This was what I wrote as an answer: "I want to tell fantastical stories that inspire and entertain teens and young adults. I also want to impart my personal learnings and faith through my work and hopefully interact with a community that relates to and appreciates the content I put out." The past few days I have been contemplating about whether or not I was achieving my "why". My boyfriend (bless his kind and patient soul, that man) had to listen to me rant for two days about my existential crisis. Art and writing began to frustrate me that I lost my joy despite how many times he and a bunch of other friends and art mutuals say that my art was "good". I wanted more. I wanted to excel. I wanted to be "the best". But in all that wanting, I forgot why I did this in the first place. The short answer to my dilemma is that I am a very prideful person. That has always been my sin and weakness, and I learn everyday that I need to be humbled before He who gave me this gift and why I was given it in the first place. I hope that my ramblings inspire you, fellow creative, fellow dreamer and wonderer. :) Whenever you find yourself in a pinch of sadness and frustration over your craft, remember your "why". Isabella's common Animal forms...

Her Black panther form, when she is in the mood to rip someone to shreds.. this is a normal shift for her... The blue eyes will always be present in her animal forms due to her Vetala side...
