I have been alone all day, so I've been thinking all day.

I don't know what happened, but somewhere along the way I lost closeness with pretty much all my friends. I literally had no one I could call to hang out with today. And it's been like this for several Saturdays, or any day, really. Obviously I must have played a major part in this happening, yet it's still hard to understand why. As far as I can tell I'm a really good friend. I always have free time to offer, I drive, I pay, I'm open to doing anything, I talk, I listen, I think I'm pretty fun to be around. I don't understand. 2 years ago I would have had no problem at all finding something to do on a Saturday night. Now I'm lucky to see a friend for an hour on any given day. I guess I need to put myself out there and start meeting new people. I can't be alone like this anymore.

losing a boyfriend is one thing. but losing a best friend? even more of a heartbreak. maybe it shouldn't be called a heartbreak when you're the one to initiate it. but, it still is. I lost a part of myself today.
