🌸Foundation Review🌸

I love the scent of this foundation, very floral. As you can see the packaging is really small & it retails for $38 but it is the standard 1 oz. 🚨 also be careful when ordering this online - the colors don’t match. Online this shade looks like my perfect shade but it’s obviously lighter🚨

i only can use it as concealer but it’s great in that area & doesn’t necessarily need the be set.

I received the Pretty in Bloom foundation free for review via @origins & @influenster a few weeks ago and have tested it out several times. Aside from the shade being too light for me, this foundation unfortunately didn’t work out for my oily/acne prone/sensitive skin type. The fragrance smells really nice, but I found it to be skin sensitizing. The effect after fresh application looked decent but no matter what primer I used (or didn’t use) it always sunk into pores and bunches up around my nose. By the end of the day, my skin looked patchy, dehydrated, and extra textured—safe to say that it just didn’t work out for me. However, I have seen positive reviews from others with less skin texture issues than I have, so I’m thinking those with normal skin types may enjoy this more. Either way, it was still really nice to try a new foundation launch and I’m super appreciative for the opportunity. I was one of the first to try Origins CLEAR IMPROVEMENT Pore Clearing Moisturizer With Bamboo Charcoal, it was sent free to try from @influenster. I have been pretty transparent about my acne prone skin, sharing my worst and the long journey of getting back to what I saw as normal.
