Some concerns are unavoidable for responsible middle-aged men of a certain style and dignity. Mycroft's got to decide what to do about the estate and inheritance and all those good and worthy family sorts of things, given he and Sherlock have no offspring. Family planning the Holmesian way. This is not Holmescest/incest, barring a few mild and tasteless jokes.
This one turned longish and decidedly Mystrade, though quite non-erotica. Love-story. Main characters: Mycroft, Lestrade, Sherlock.

This is very mild, flirty Mystrade. Timing is pretty much any time after Sherlock's return. I just can't write these two as ending up together by mistake: I tend to see them as too adult and too self-aware to blunder into anything. On the other hand, I can see them wickedly, intentionally clever-foxing themselves into something. In this one, Greg Lestrade mischievously opens some lines of inquiry...

Still working on "Dancing with the Lightning." That said, this grows out of some of the character conjecture I've been doing in the META stuff.
This is character study in a totally speculative framework. It's Mystrade, of a sort, and it's even romantic. It's got erotic elements. It's just not what I think people expect of any of those things. It's dysfunctional but-still-standing Mycroft, and empathic but pretty tough and non-sentimental Greg. It's non-romantic romance. It's erotica with no sex worth mentioning.
