“~And your heart will fly on forever in Never Never Land.”
@oriturluxarchive (it won’t let me tag your actual one)
All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and thusly act as so. Sora was the one who never would. Never would he know what old age was like, never would he know what it meant to have a family and a wife, but he didn't care. He was a child forever and a happy one was he.
Traveling down the streets he so often traveled for adventure he came upon a house, 14 it was, a house with an open window. Upon further inspection of said window in said house, it was revealed to be a nursery for one, a pretty sleeping girl with hair the color of the moon. Sora had never seen a girl this up close before and wanted to see more, especially with her unique hair. As he came in closer, his fairy close behind, a bark scared him enough to fly up and hit the ceiling in surprise.
"Ow!" He shouted, staying where the barking beast couldn't reach him nor tinker bell. He tried to see int he darkness what beast could make such odd noises but instead just got frightened out of the room. His shadow however was most unlucky. As Sora flew out of the window, the shutters closed on his shadow, separating the two of them.
Oh bother.
His shadow had always had a mind of his own, making faces at him and playing pranks when he didn't want to. He was a silly trickster in his own sense and getting him back would be most arduous.
For what seemed like weeks but was only a matter of days, Sora came back to the house named 14 and each night he waited for a chance to find his Shadow again. On the third night when it was starting to get a bit cold and the skeletal leaves on his attire were seeming to look like they would soon wither, the window was open once more. This time he entered with a sense of reserve, first peeking his head in. When no beast was found he landed on the plush carpet of the floor. the material feeling wonderful on his bare feet. A boyish giggle escaped him as he walked all over the room, enjoying how the carpet almost tickled his small feet.
It was Tinkerbell who flew over to him and pulled at his ear to get his attention. In all his silliness he had forgotten the reason he was here. She on the other hand had found the very shadow they were looking for. The dark creature was on the wall, laughing at him as Sora struck a pose. "Humph!" He announced as he walked closer to the wall and leaped to grab it but grabbed nothing save the hard wall, a bruise on his button nose.
"Ow!" Tinkerbell rolled her eyes at him before laughing, a sound almost like a bell itself. She was never much of a help it seemed. Sora tried again though, only taking a moment to whine, he was a very brave boy after all.He chased his shadow around the room, knocking over this and that in his frenzy until at last he had the shadows leg. He crowed in victory, grip ever tight on his shadow and having completely forgotten their was another trying to sleep in the room.

Crow wasn’t shocked when he felt the hands on his hips, instead he smiled enticingly at Riku. “I bet you have a wonderful ideas to follow this up.”
