Dakka dakka dakka dakka! Dakka dakka? Dakka dakka dakka!!
Somewhere in the vastness of the Imperium, a Space Marine cries himself to sleep in the face of such heresy.
Hey look, it's actually starting to look like something now!
You ever get to a point in a project, when you're 100 hours in, nowhere near the finish line, with a million things to flesh out, streamline and troubleshoot and curse your ambition? Ever take stock of what you do 60 hours a week and ask "what the fuck am I doing with my life's work?" Me neither.
Building out the details on what will be the catwalk on top of the ork armory. An armored munitions crate serves as the basis, and the rest is being scratched out. The back wall will feature weapon racks with a variety of dakka, and there will be a little table with loose rounds, an ork working and a Grot or two, hauling shells.
Building up the "safety" rails and then figuring out the ramp that will interconnect it with the second level of the warcamp. Getting propa' orky.
Spent the day casting 100's of rivets, bolts, studs, rounds and shell casings for the orkpacalypse. Also have begun to flesh out the rough positions of the foundational elements of the ground floor for the ork war camp. Going to be two floors, with watchtowers comprising an elevated third. I'm restricted to a 15 inch ceiling in the competition, which means I'm going to be cramming a ton of detail Into those floors. Sacked the squig fighting ring, but should manage to include the armory, kitchen, surgery bay, scrap gathering, two heavy weapon hardpoints, dozens of grots, 4 vehicles (killer kan, plane, deffcopta, Grot tank), Warboss Thraka and about 10 or so assembled orks to listen to his speech. Not to mention all the barrels, barricades, river, crates and a surprise or two. Stay tuned!
These dudes needed a proper stage/speaker stack. Dio now features 100% more rock.
