New Orleans was either the best or the worst place for Jeremy to be, depending on how you looked at it. On one hand, there were vampires all around, just waiting to get friendly with his trusty ol’ stake. On the other hand, he wasn’t a murderer. He didn’t get off on killing vampires, even if he did enjoy the adrenaline rush a little too much. He didn’t kill unless he had to, but it still made his blood boil whenever he caught glimpse of a vampire out of the corner of his eye. Most nights, he ended up just strolling the streets. Maybe he was looking for some trouble, like some kind of vigilante or something. Maybe he was just bored in the French quarter-- although that was unlikely. He was lost in his own thoughts when he heard a voice that spoke over the hustle and bustle of the New Orleans streets. Plucking his headphones out of his ears, he put his hood down and turned towards the source of the voice. “ I didn’t hear a word you just said, ” he replied, giving them a thumbs up.
