Treasures, not trophies

In the aftermath of the tragedy in Isla Vista last week, I’ve seen a lot of disgusting comments from guys essentially blaming the female persuasion for the psychological issues of a few “nice guys” who have failed in love and turn unnecessary anger into violence. It makes my blood boil to see the idiocy.

Fellas: it is our duty and privilege to protect the women of this earth. They are not trophies to collect, but rather treasure to cherish.

If you see someone disrespecting a woman, do what’s necessary to stop it. To stand idly by is to side with the aggressor, and the no-snitch rule is for punks.
